Our time was too short to fully enjoy the rustic charm and convenient location of this hotel and restaurant. The food was delicious, albeit a bit pricey, and the breakfast was generous and tasty. Our large and quiet space provided a peaceful stay, and the parking was excellent. The friendly staff and cozy old German style added to the overall positive experience. Everything was exceptionally clean, and the hotel provided all necessary supplies. We felt like royalty and would highly recommend coming back anytime.
Can just recommend this hotel.

The room I stayed in had a flat-screen satellite TV and a private bathroom. It was just perfect for a cozy night in after a long day of business meetings. I loved catching up on my favorite shows and having my own bathroom for some privacy. It felt like a home away from home!
Personally, I found the seating area in the quadruple room a bit uncomfortable. But hey, different strokes for different folks, right?

The hotel offers nicely decorated rooms in a traditional country style with a touch of romance elements. The attention to detail, such as the bed with a charming canopy and the tapisserie-covered armchairs, adds a delightful touch to the experience. Additionally, the location is ideal, being close to the Swiss border passing of Diessenhofen, allowing for easy access to the beautiful surroundings.
No significant improvements needed.

This cozy hotel exudes an old-world charm with its wooden interior, making it a great base to explore the scenic surroundings. The rooms are spacious and well-maintained, with large windows that provide lovely views of the countryside. The service is attentive and the breakfast spread of excellent quality, served by friendly staff. Guests can park their cars conveniently, and the authentic country-style décor adds to the charm. The bathroom facilities are clean and well-equipped.
The Wi-Fi connection in the rooms could be stronger, posing a slight inconvenience for guests who require it for work or leisure.

The breakfast was filling and delicious, and the service staff was attentive to our needs. The convenient location near major roadways made it easy to get to my business meetings on time. the free parking offered by the hotel saved me money on rental car charges.
The disorganized check-in process was a major hassle that added unnecessary stress to my trip. The language barrier made communication difficult, and it took several attempts to get a key to my room.

Enjoyed the cozy atmosphere of the old German style building, with plenty of wood and history. The staff was friendly, and the room was very clean. Parking was easy, and the location was just a short distance from the river and a beautiful lake. Also appreciated the tasty breakfast, with some surprisingly good scrambled eggs and fresh towels each day.
The view from the room left something to be desired, and the windows were too small to offer much ventilation on hot nights. The room was a bit stuffy, but opening the window wasn't an option due to the view. Also, the bed was too soft for our liking, but that's a personal preference. a good value for the money, and a great spot for an overnight stay during a city break.

I really got my money's worth at this hotel! The room was spacious and had a kitchen/dining area attached, which was a pleasant surprise. The location was great, near the Rhine River and not far from Bodensee. The staff treated us like royalty and the hotel restaurant served delicious food and local craft beer. Highly recommended!
Breakfast offerings could be improved with a wider variety of options.
